Dr. Kathryn (Katie) Egan is a passionate dentist with over a decade of experience. A native of Cleveland, Tennessee, Dr. Egan earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 2009 and completed a 1 year general practice residency at Denver Health Hospital. Her journey in dentistry is driven by a deep commitment to serving others, with significant experience providing care to underserved communities from Alaska to Tennessee.
Before opening her private practice in Hixson, Dr. Egan spent several years in public health, working with Indian Health Services in Barrow, Alaska, the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Rutherford County, and the Chattanooga VA clinic, where she cared for veterans. Today, she is proud to serve the Hixson community by providing exceptional, compassionate care.
When she's not perfecting smiles, Dr. Egan enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Matt, her daughter, Charlee, and their dog, Sadie. I love to joke around and have fun, so feel free to make me laugh!
